Brainstorm...

So I quickly brainstormed a few ideas for my college magazine, this included what topics I would have, what the name will be and what pictures to use.

From this mind map I chosen the elements of my college magazine:

Name: Inspired

Position of title: top of the page

Font: Computer - 'Bradley Hand ITC'

Picture: Mid shot of student studying.

Contents Page-

the topics in my magazine will be student news, your life, job applications, EMA, fashion and drink awareness, I have chosen these topics as they are often featured in students magazines, also they are topics students would want to know about.

Also I will have an editorial board, page numbers and artcle, also there will be pictures.

College Magazines

For my college magazine, I had to research what a college magazine looked like a what topics are discussed in the magazines here are the covers of the magazine. My aim is to emulate the layout.

  Using what these magazines show I can start to brainstorm my ideas for my magazine.

Mock Magazine

Using what I learned last lesson I developed a Mock magazine to enforce my knowledge of a magazine layout.
Using a picture taken from the internet of Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine) I created a Fashion Magazine called 'Fashionista' with the sell line 'Be every inch the Fashionista!' The topics in the Magazine are similar to is discussed in fashion magazines today, such as new styles, diets and celebrities.

So this is it, I thought it represented my knowledge quite well.
